Dreams of Memory from beneath the Roots
In life, I had a wife - though I do not remember her face. I had children - but I do not remember their fates. I had a name - but I do not remember what it was. All that I do remember from my life was my love of the land and my utter belief that I was tied to it by blood and that it was my responsibility to care for its health and spirit. It was this belief that lead me to the Grove, and my unlife.
In my unlife, my wife was the Grove, my children the trees, and my name was Pilonek of the Lhiannan.
I served as voivode of the Grove for many upon many lifetimes. When it became mine, the men of my lands were ruled by chieftans, then kings and p
